 What dates are Good?

Whom might be able to be physically present in Ft Collins, CO?

Are there alternative locations to be considered?

Someone had mentioned a Google Survey. Would someone like to create that?

All,

There are a number of folks that have asked that we do this the week of
Aug 11-15 due to some travel restrictions etc. All of the respondents to
the survey have indicated this will work.

Scott,

The HP site is available Aug 11 -15th. I’m getting some help from our admin to
book the room. Some questions she had and my tentative answers:

• Is wireless ok? # Wireless should be fine, everyone will be using
laptops

• Do you need a speaker phone and projector? # Projector would be
good, speaker phone won’t be required (I might be wrong here)

• Any additional special hardware, equipment or technical setup
required? # ???

• Happy to set up catering just need to know who is paying and if you
want morning continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon coffee break? Any
dietary restrictions? # Not sure about funding for catering, but we’ll see if
we can get any volunteers from management ☺

We need to have a proxy set up to get around hp's firewall
we need port 29418 and port 443 accessible.

I'm vegetarian and will take care of my own food. No matter what
arrangements you make the 'veggie' pizza will show up with pepperoni on
it. I have accepted this in my life.

Thanks Scott,

I think you can create an easy survey with doodle.com. You can fill in the
dates, and ask people to specify next to their names if their attendance
will be physical or virtual.

Sorry I wasn't at the June 11th meeting. I had talked with John in
channel about dates and had hoped that something late August would be
considered (we had discussed after LinuxCon). I do want to attend. The
only time mentioned above where I don't have a direct conflict is July
21-25, though I would be coming straight from another meetup.

Thanks, I do hope the meetup happens, I have dancing to do!
