Kuba, I made a last ditch awkward effort to convince you to stay a little longer unsuccessfully. I understand, though, that now you have other commitments. I know you will be successful in your new adventures, because you are really smart and hard working. And please remember that we will take you back with open arms at any moment in the future. [openstack-dev] [Neutron] Stepping down from Neutron core team
Hi all, as you have might already heard, I'm no longer involved in Neutron development due to some changes. Therefore I'm officially stepping down from the core team because I can't provide same quality reviews as I tried to do before. I'd like to thank you all for the opportunity I was given in the Neutron team, thank you for all I have learned over the years professionally, technically and personally. Tomorrow it's gonna be exactly 5 years since I started hacking Neutron and I must say I really enjoyed working with all Neutrinos here and I had privilege to meet most of you in person and that has an extreme value for me. It has been a pleasure for me serving the Neutron community (or Quantum as it was called at the time), and now it feel right - and probably overdue - to relinquish my position as a core team member in a spirit of rotation and alternation between contributors. Note: Before you uncork your champagne bottles, please be aware that I will stay in the Neutron community as a contributors and I might still end up reviewing patches. Not even sure why I am even sending this email when I am behind you right now :-) Probably to make sure that the rest of the folks know that your pedant remarks where so important to keep going the Quantum/Neutron project and even more important to have the right code in place. Best Wishes!
