So we tried and did the meeting on #tripleo.
I noticed more people participated and were present to the meeting and
I didn't notice any interruption.

Please bring any feedback (positive / negative) so we decide if
whether or not we continue that way.

2017-07-07 Thread David Moreau Simard
We have been holding RDO meetings in #rdo for as long as I can remember and
I don't see anyone complaining.

If someone asks a "support" type question during the meeting, we invite
them to participate in the meeting and mention that we can help after the
meeting is over.

+1 Agree with folks here lets try it and in general it shouldn't cause big
problems but we'll find out I guess

One negative I could think of is the meeting logs being harder to find for
those miss a meeting - I went looking for and got
http://eavesdrop.openstack.org/irclogs/%23tripleo/ so irc is all logged but
you'd still have to find it... not a huge problem as you know the exact
day/time and we can make it easier if we use some kind of 'start meeting'
/end meeting tag as usual to make it easier to search for.

thanks

I guess this would preclude non-meeting related activity in #tripleo,
which in my experience is a thing that happens pretty frequently during
