While checking what I had written I did see a typo in teh script... :)
echo "$( date +%m/%d/%Y-%H:%M:%S ),${username},${untrusted_ip},
${ifconfig_local},${ifconfig_pool_remote_ip},${IV_VER},*${*
*IV_PLAT,$UV_TERM}"* >> ${logfile}
corrected to:
echo "$( date +%m/%d/%Y-%H:%M:%S ),${username},${untrusted_ip},
${ifconfig_local},${ifconfig_pool_remote_ip},${IV_VER},${IV_PLAT},${UV_TERM}"
>> ${logfile}
I now get the variable at server side!
