[opnfv-tech-discuss] StorPerf multi-arch verify includes ARM

2017-09-01 Thread Beierl, Mark
Hello,

I would like to extend a big thank you to Alex Avadanii and Fatih Degirmenci
(and probably others too!) for their help in reaching this important milestone
in StorPerf. New patches now go through 3 verification jobs prior to Jenkins
giving a +1:

1) Unit tests, python formatting and code coverage are run
2) Docker containers are built locally, started and checked for basic health on
x86_64
3) Docker containers are built locally, started and checked for basic health on
ARM aarch64!

Is it this last step that I am most excited about. It validates that the
docker containers build and can start successfully on ARM, and this will be
done automatically for each Gerrit patchset going forward. Note: this does not
yet mean that docker images for StorPerf are built and published to Dockerhub
for ARM. That is for another day...

Re: [opnfv-tech-discuss] [announce] F & G releases naming

Hi,

These are great proposals!

I agree - I would add Fox River in New Zealand as a 2nd option

> -Gambia for G in Africa

It would be a shame not to have the Ganges as an option for G, even if
it's not in Africa, although I also like Gambia.

In terms of themes, the Fly river gives us a nice opportunity to mix an
open source theme and a political message - "Sustainable Development" -
the deforestation of Papua New Guinea on the banks of the Fly is a
tragedy for the planet.

Thanks,
Dave.

Hi, Is there a space in your linuxfoundation ID?

If so please let me know, you will need to create a new ID as spaces
and special characters break gerrit.

If you do not have a second email address to freee up the first one I
will have to escalate to my internal helpdesk.

Once you have a new account, I will send you a new invite.

Regards,
Aric

Hi,

As we discussed in the Testperf meeting and the alignment with Infra group, we
will need access to the Intel-18 POD for the long duration test.
To avoid duplicated requests, we decide to create a ticket to collect name list
for bulk access subscription.
A action item has been assigned to me to collect the name list though email.
Please provide your feedback below so that I could create the ticket.

[opnfv-tech-discuss] [opnfvdocs] Question on font size and page width

2017-09-01 Thread Kunzmann, Gerald
Dear Opnfvdocs-Team,

I have created this table but I am quite unhappy about the narrow, and thus
long, description column:
http://artifacts.opnfv.org/promise/review/40835/development_manuals/index.html

Is there a way to specify font size for specific tables or change page width
for specific pages?

Best regards,
Gerald

Wenjing,

I can make further clarifications on the wiki, but I actually meant
Australia/Oceania when I simply said Australia. (I'm sure Geographers in the
community may further criticize my sloppiness). As you can see on the wiki,
two rivers I listed there are from Papua New Guinea & New Zealand

Cheers,

Ray

Subject: [opnfv-tech-discuss] [announce] F & G releases naming

All,

As was discussed in a TSC call a few weeks ago, I'd like to kickoff the naming
process for both OPNFV releases in 2018 (i.e. F & G releases). We'll follow
the tradition of naming our release after rivers and rotate through different
continents.

So far, we have not had release names for rivers in Africa, Australia, and
South America (options for Antarctica as you can imagine are pretty limited).
My proposal is to start with Australia for the F-release and then move to
Africa for the G-release (Dave Neary already suggested that there are more
options for G in Africa :-))

I created a wiki
page for
community suggestions and will leave this open for a few weeks, so I encourage
everyone to add your ideas for F & G release names in respective tables. I'll
plan on starting the voting on release names during the week of September 18th.

Thanks,

Ray

Serena fixed the issue
Probably bad config introduced by an update 3 weeks ago (and I am
probably the one to blame...)

Hi all,

I tried to verify the API URL
http://testresults.opnfv.org/test/swagger/spec.html#!/spec/update
which had been used earlier to update the database, but it appears
not to be working now, using the credentials as shown on the page
“Where can I find the documentation on the test API?
”. Did
the swagger API URL change?

Thanks,
