[Oralux] Brazil getting started

2006-03-09 Thread angelobeck
Olá amigos,
Hello friends,

I'll write first in english, after thet, into portuguese.

I'm very happy to became a member of Oralux. Congratulations for this
moviment.

I'm blind and I use computer so much. I'm a entusiastic of Free Software
cause I believe that only Free Softwares can make the inclusion possible. I
refers to blind people, but not only us. Many poor comunities can only
develop and grow if the freedom filosophy becames real. It needs some will
of that people, but needs a help of us that know the importance of that.

I'm not using Oralux yet, cause I had a problem wich my sound card. But I
can start my work helpping in the traductions process.

I need some help and I looking for a professional that know something about
php, java or other web language. If someone knows, please, answer this
message. I had a idea that can works well and help so much into the
traduction process:

I'm thinking in a tool to translate the document wichout modificatting the
html tags. Search the texts inside the html tags manualy are very difficult,
and the programs that let you editting only the texts creates a lot of
confusion in the html codes. My idea is to creates a web editor very simple,
but efficient.

The idea is to imput the original html codes into a field. when a submit
buttom is pressed, the engine receive the code and make this work:

All the html tags, beginning wich and ending wich will be recorded
into memory. The texts betwen that tags will showed in many diferent fields
in a new page to be replaced. When a Formatate it now button is pressed,
the new texts will be mixed wich the original codes and the browser will
show the traduced page in the original html tags.

Can someone help me?

My english are not so good, but my work are only to anderstand, not to
write! Sorry for the errors.

Olá amigos, agora em português. Precisamos sincronizar nosso trabalho para
não fazermos a mesma coisa. Eu me disponho a traduzir a FAQ, encontrada no

A idéia básica é a seguinte:

Copiamos o código original da página que queremos traduzir e a inserimos em
um campo. Ao pressionarmos um botão Enviar a máquina irá receber o código
e fará o seguinte trabalho:

Todas as tags html, iniciadas com efinalizadas com serão gravadas na
memória. Os textos encontrados entre cada duas tags serão mostrados em
diferentes campos para serem substituídos. Quando um botão Rormatar agora
for pressionado, o novo texto será mesclado com as tags originais. Desta

Estou disposto a
contribuir com este trabalho - financeiramente. :-)

aqui do Brasil. Estou tão entusiasmado que até estou ansioso! Estou disposto

[Oralux] Migration is possible

2006-03-15 Thread angelobeck
Hello!

I made the download of Oralux 7 sucessfuly. Burned the CD and it starts
currectly.

Nou begin the second step: learn more about emacs and it's plug-ins.

The OL coud detect the sound card correctly, save the configurations in the
hard drive and speak in to portuguese.

It's not so good as the english sinth, but is not dificult to understand.
The problem is in the device between the keyboard and the chair. It needs a
new programation to be free in that system.

I'll try to make a mirror in the university of our city.

Gilles, if you did'nt send the Oralux CD to me, you don't have to make it.
Thanks so much. The download takes 10 ours, but it finish sucessfuly. I'm
completely blind and I make all that work wichout any help. I'm very happy
about that. I coud make the download, burn the CD and test it.

I'll exchange messages wich our brazilian friends to synk the traduction
work.

Happiness,

Angelo Beck

[Oralux] Ubuntu into portuguese

2007-05-01 Thread angelobeck
A great notice that is possible to use Gnome into portuguese under Ubuntu
Feisty - 7.4.

I guided my whife to install Ubuntu. When it's finished and I reboot my
computer, a signal indicates to me that was a time to guive my name and a
password. When ready and I hred a song, I just type alt + F2 and wrote orca.
Imediately it's starts to talk into portuguese and ask me some
configurations to do. After that I use many commands, acess menus and use
the terminal.

Some problems I didnt discovery how to resolve. One of that its I didnt
discovery how to acess te menu bar of a window. In Windows I make it typing
Alt, but its not work in orca.

Someting like to activate a hiperlink have no results too.

I'm using Windows, but it is witch counted days.

I like to try tis synt for speackUp and EmacSpeack. The synth used into
Ubuntu are good. Easy to anderstand.

One task I used sucessfully was the apt-get to download the Links browser.
But its not work well outside emacs.

Thanks to all,

Angelo
