Howto add google earth satellite images to osmand:
Menu > Configure Map > Map Source > New:
Name: Google Earth
Url: http://mts0.googleapis.com/vt/lyrs=s={1}={2}={0}
Zoom: 1-18
Expiry: 259200 (0.5 year)
Every thing else: default
Now you can add as over- or underlay.

No, different versions; 3.9.10 on an old Moto X with Android 6 and 4.08 on a Moto G+ with Android 8.1. But I wouldn't expect OsmAnd to sync data between devices in any case. Hello! Unfortunately, the current version of OsmAnd doesn't support changing icons for multiply points. Due to Google Play requirements: Starting in November 2021, app updates will be required to target API level 30 or above and adjust for behavioral changes in Android 11.
