Re: [PacketFence-users] Basic questions about Captive Portal on PacketFence

2018-05-18 Thread Fabrice Durand via PacketFence-users

Hello Annibal,

it's easy and you have multiples possibilities.

All the configuration is in the connection profile and you just have to
configure the correct filter.

Let say network 1 is 192.168.0.0/24 and network 2 is 192.168.1.0/24 then
you can create 2 connections profiles like:

Network1 : Filter Network 192.168.0.0/24

Network2 : Filter Network 192.168.1.0/24

That's it.

Fabrice

Hi

Thank you for your message.

Can I have more than one Captive Portal if the scenario below

I mean, two or more sites each one with its own network with n access
points, where we forward the traffic of each firewall to

the public IP of eth1 (input) to pass through Captive Portal and
access internet by eth0.

How can we control each access point access and also send to different
landing pages (different captive portals)

Hi,

Could someone answer this questions for me?

1) Can I have more than one Captive Portal in the same
PacketFence server?

Or at list different landingpages?

Yes, create a new connection profile ta have a new portal. (set
the correct filter like SSID = bob and set a different redirect url)

2) We want to use not only Social Login through Facebook but also
capture all Facebook´s user profile. So, how can we implement our
own landing page to handle Social login and then tell PacketFence
what to do after?

You need to create an authentication source for Facebook and
assign it on the connection profile.

3) How do we access user data on PacketFence? I mean, we want to
access all data about users stored in PacketFence.

It will be a connection to the mysql database on the table person.

Fabrice

Thanks.
