Can an ID3 tagger do this?
Hello, is there an accessible ID3 tagger out there which can do the following: you can select a group of files from within a folder, and tell the program that for all of these files, you want to put this for the title, this for the artist, this for the year, and this for the comment, so I could just fill in these fields once and have the program put that info into each of those fields for each file selected? This would save a lot of time in typing. Also, it would be a plus if the program would take the text in the file name after the space dash space, but before the period mp3, and put that as the title of the track. Please let me know if such a program exists, and it would be worth paying for if it does. Thanks a lot. Matthew Tired of HotMail? Try Runbox. 1 gig of storage for a reasonable price. WinMx questions
Hi all I have a few queries about WinMX. Is it possible to let WinMX display full file names and not end them with ... When they are too long? The other thing is that every time you import incomplete files, it seems as if you have to set the autpo find resource and queuing options for each song you have imported from the incompleted list. Is there a way to do this automatically? Re: WinMx questions
There's a program you can get called quickmx that's supposed to help with your last question. As for the file names, I'm not sure what to do to change that. If you want the program though, you could go to google.com, and type the word quickmx in the search field, and that should be the first thing you find. However, if you're using the latest version, there isn't a version available for that yet, so you'd need to temporarily downgrade to 3.31. - Original Message - From: Andre van Deventer [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: 'PC audio discussion list. Re: winamp
as far as I know, because I have done this myself, you can just install it right over top of the older version. I haven't run into any problems doing this. - Original Message - From: John Stott [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. Re: winamp
Just go ahead and install it. It should save all your settings. I would suggest, though, that you save the original executable file of the version you're using. Nothing is absolutely certain in computers, so if something does go wrong, you should have that executable if you have to go back. But that really shouldn't be necessary. - Original Message - From: John Stott [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. Re: Real alternative problems.
Hello! Well i have had problems with bbc radio 3. And a couple of swedish radio stations. But do you know where the real alternative saves its favorites? /Anders. - Original Message - From: Christopher Maule-Oatway [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, July 29, 2004 10:12 PM Subject: Re: Real alternative problems. Hello Anders, Yes, I have had this problem. One possible explanation is that the station can no longer be accessed by the ram file that has been saved in the favorites, either because the station is no longer on the internet, or because the station's internet address has changed. I had about ten favorites, all of which disappeared during the last two months. Could you please say what stations you are having a problem with, and I will see if I have any better luck. RE: winamp
Hi, To add to this, make sure you do not install Modern skin support; Visualisations support and Winamp agent. The installation defaults have all features selected. When you have the winamp5 installation program up and running and you get through the bs regarding agreeing to the licence then simply tab over to the treeview and navigate to the item you want to remove by using your up or down arrow keys then once you are on the item you want to remove then press space-bar once. You probably won't be told by your screen reader that the item has been unselected but just assume it has. Alternatively you could use your review cursor to look at the amount of space the program will take up on your hard drive. The less items you select, the less disk space Winamp will take up. How to work Winmx.
I have Winmx loaded on my laptop and don't know how to work with it. I went to the search and entered the name of an artist. I got the results and chose any connection. How do I know if a download is complete? Are there scripts for Winmx? If so, where can they be found? I have JFW 5.0 and if anyone has scripts for that JFW version, I would appreciate knowing how to download, install and put them in the proper folders. As you can see, I am a novice when it comes to this program.
