Re: need info for computer speakers/ or speaker set up for computer
Hello Sunshine, The speaker/amplifier system I have for my computer, is a system I bilt from the ground up myself. My speaker boxes are made of salet oke wood. My inturnal speaker components are 2 8 inch full range drivers that I ordered from: http://www.tubesandmore.com I have 2 15watt stereo tube amplifiers that I bilt from kits whitch I ordered from: http://www.s5electronics.com the 2 stereo amplifiers are running in mono bridge mode to give me 30 watts to each speaker. If I can remember correctly, I payed $165.95 each for boath complete kits. And for the speakers, I payed $75.95 each+shipping. I use my computer to downlode alot of music, and I have tryed lots of computer speaker systems, none of them gave me the kind of soun I was looking for. So I made my ohn, I am very happy with it. If you know what you are doing, these tube amplifiers are easy to billd. But ladies and gental men out their, please be very careful, they requier 120 volts to operate them, but 200 to 250 volts are on the cirket boards of each one of these. The models for the amplifiers are the 12-G, the speakers are the Jensen P-8-Q. If you don't want to go the rout that I went, Sound Blaster has some pretty good speaker systems. You can check them out at: http://www.soundblaster.com also SONY has some pretty good speaker systems too. Check them out at: http://www.sony.com good luck on finding the speaker system that sutes your needs. - Original Message - From: "Sunshine" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: ; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, April 25, 2007 4:06 PM Subject: need info for computer speakers/ or speaker set up for computer >I need some info for what kind of speaker system you are using for your >computer > weather they be actual computer speakers or a speaker system you use > prices, and brand names and where i might find them. > p.p.s and if the speakers come with a remote or not and what you think of > the quality of the speakers? > > Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... > http://www.pc-audio.org > > To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > -- > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.5.463 / Virus Database: 269.6.1/776 - Release Date: 4/25/2007 > 12:19 PM > > Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Weird Sound Problem
Hi Again, I am trying to use both JAWS 8.0 and GoldWave. I use an USB device called an m-audio mobile prix. When I'm not in a sound file, JAWS is very sluggish, taking about half a second to respond to each keystroke. When I am in a sound file, it sounds as if it is on double speed, but in other programs, the response of the keys is normal. The person who is helping me with the computer is utterly baffled, and he is quite competent. If any of you might have a clue as to what is going on, we would both appreciate help. Thank you. Is there a way to download these programs as well as stream? - Original Message - From: djc To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Wednesday, April 25, 2007 12:25 AM Subject: Re[3]: Jlc's Internet TV Program Not to many as far as your local chanels probably but I did find a good variety for the us including some news and weather chanels and some movie chanels. Canada was really impressive with many of the cbc chanels and others. Australia had a number of chanels. I haven't looked at the UK but with 1400 chanels in his data base you should be able to find something that will entertain you I'm sure. On most of the ones I tried the quality seemed good and my sighted wife reported that the video was clear. *** REPLY SEPARATOR *** On 4/24/2007 at 9:27 PM Mike Pietruk wrote: >ok! HI, Ok. But real alternative is updated all the time I think, and I really don't like the way Real player messes up my system and add diverse adds. Re: Users of emusic.co.uk
Hi Gordon, I use www.emusic.com. I imagine the design would be the same. Each track of each album is displayed with a download link. After all the tracks, there is another link entitled "download all". Clicking this link downloads the whole album with download manager. I hope the UK site works the same. Cheers, Barry. - Original Message - From: "G. Re[3]: Jlc's Internet TV Program
hello djc, have you found a way of stopping a station from playing other than actually closing the program. i tried listening to some stations to see what they were like but found i couldn't stop the stream without closing the program and couldn't hear what i was highlighting on the station list because of the current audio stream when trying to select another station. pete.
