Re: audacity
Hi Robert, there's a jaws guide to audacity available at: http://bit.ly/axYol6 1. to apply an effect to a single track, make it the only track selected (enter toggles whether a track is selected). Then select a time range, for example, if you press J, then shift+k, this selects a time range covering all the audio in the selected tracks. Then apply an effect - see the track table, moving the cursor, and selecting audio sections of the guide for more details. 2. mute and solo control which tracks are played back - see the more advanced editing section for more details. David. original message: I'm having trouble figuring out how to isolate tracks to add separate effects for each track. then play back all tracks to hear how they sound. 1. are their jaws scripts 2. Is there a tutorial written for blind users? To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
Re: Airport Express Again
You're right there! I'm telling people now! they just don't know what there missing and they'll be craving for more! once they've heard their audio through one of these things, even better! if they can take advantage of a direct digital link, even the latest versions of Audio Bluetooth are pretty good but of course range and lack of flexibility are a problem with that system.. I have to admit, I'm yet to play with Airtunes. Ah, that's what I've trying to tell people for a few years now, but it seems they like bad audio too much. - Original Message - From: "Dane Trethowan" To: "PC Audio Discussion List" Sent: Saturday, September 04, 2010 3:30 PM Subject: Airport Express Again Hi folks! One thing that these Base stations allow is for the connection of an audio device, you can for example connect the output of the Airport Express to a Hi-Fi setup using either an analogue or digital connection hence these devices can handle your wi-Fi traffic and give you crystal-clear audio into a particular room but what I didn't know was that you can have a source piped to multiple Airport Express units at the one time using Itunes so time to throw those ancient FM transmitters away, no risk of interference, or distortion any more! just nice sounding audio noise and distortion free wherever I go in my house or within range of my wi-fi network. Airport Express Again
Hi folks! As list members would know I have an Airport Express base station here, well now I have 2 as a matter of fact. To checkout the Airport express go to www.apple.com/airportexpress and you can see the specs and other details. If you don't feel like using Itunes? Sure! use Airfoil and you can Stream Winamp or any other application that generates audio to your Airport Express.
