Not tototally sure here but first save your document or work as a txt
file. This assures that you have your work on Dspeach saved. Then make
all your changes and save again. Then to convert your work into a wav
file, you use the File menu and go down to convert to wav or ? file. hit
enter and this will give you a choice and save as wav. Now once you have
your work saved as a wav file or a text file you can right click that
file name and your content menu should offer you a convert to MP3 line
and if all goes well just hit enter and your wave file will then convert
to an mp3. I have no idea of your system and I have not used dspeach
in a
year or so, but it works something like that. It use to work great
for me

but because I have added a bunch of other programs, something got thrown
out of wak and I just don't have time to mess with it any lnger.
Good lucks!

Re: Logitech speakers

2011-02-02 Thread Sunshine
stuart, i use a speaker system from benwin.
the 5.1 channel surround is excellent and the bass can do a lot of shaking
as well.
not only can you use these speakers for your computer you can use them for
stereo units, cd players, dvd players tv and anything and everything you
can imagaine plugging the speakers into.
the set i have here gives a total out put power of 680 total wats of power.
quite loud and really clear.
the speakers are flat pannel but they give off the most sound i have heard
from a speaker system
the sub whooffer, is a down fireing one that has a 6.5 or 7 iinch bass
speaker.
which is quite good if not the best in bass response that you can get.
also when the fuse goes out, you can replace that by your self.

I have talked to the folks at benwin, and they are really friendly they will
walk you through your set up if you need help and they will also give you a
lot of information for the speakers.

Problems with Real Alternative

Adobe Audition

2011-02-02 Thread Brian Blair
My employer has Adobe Audition 1.0 and I've heard that 1.5 fixes some
problems in 1.0. However, I've heard that later versions are pretty
inaccessible with speech. Does anyone here have experience with the latest
version of Adobe Audition? I've seen some JFW scripts for Audition 1.0 but I
find Soundforge much easier to use. However, since our network of radio
stations use Audition it's helpful to be able to use it, and I'd like to see
us upgrade to a later version.

Re: Adobe Audition

2011-02-02 Thread Steve Pattison
Hi Brian,

This may not be a practical solution but if you're familiar with
Window-Eyes or perhaps want to try a demonstration copy of Window-Eyes
there are Window-Eyes scripts for Adobe Audition 3 available at

https://www.gwmicro.com/Script_Central/Scripts/Script_Details/?scriptid=1219

Information about the scripts are below:

This script provides speech enhancements to Adobe Audition 3 when
navigating around the Audition interface (for example, when using
Alt-Page Up and Alt-Page Down to focus the various panes). For a list of
all keyboard shortcuts, refer to the Adobe Audition Help menu.

Regards Steve.

Yes it is the 5 speaker setup, 6 with the subwoofer, sometimes known as a
5.1 speaker system... :) Sorry, I had to do it.

Thanks for the reply. I've been doing a bit more research since I posted
the question and I determined that about 20 minutes ago. I just bought
them, can't wait until they get here. I'll probably be deaf in a month or
two. lol

I seriously doubt it was the z-5500 system with 505 watts of power.
Logitech does make a less powerful system.

Re: Logitech speakers

2011-02-02 Thread Stumpy
I did look at Walmart and saw a 5.1 system that had 75 watts, probably
similar to the ones I have now. These cost $105 on the site though, where
did you see $74?
