Re: question

2012-03-14 Thread Kulvinder Singh Bhogal

Hi there

I have just tried on my Stream and all is just fine.

I wonder if there might be a physical problem with your player.

The only reason I say this is that you say that you have downgraded the
firmware and still have the problem.

Sorry that I can't be of much help to you.

Regards.

Hi kulvinder, we are at cross purposes. when i reverted to a previous
version of the software, the files played in stereo. when you say
that your player is alright, are you using the english or the
northamerican software. i was using the english version, when i was
getting the wrong results. brian.

Hi Brian,
Once you change the speed on a stereo file it becomes mono. You change the
speed by pressing the power button until you hear speed then the volume up
and down changes the speed.

2012-03-14 Thread Steve Pattison

Hi all,

Audacity version 2.0 is now available and can be downloaded from

http://audacity.sourceforge.net

I don't use Audacity myself so I'm not able to answer any questions
about the program. The major new features in Audacity 2.0 are listed below.

Regards Steve.

Many effects significantly improved, especially Equalization, Noise
Removal and Normalize.
Vocal Remover now included plus GVerb on Windows and Mac. VAMP analysis
plug-ins now supported.
Improved label tracks with Sync-Lock Tracks feature in the Tracks Menu.
Multiple clips per track. Tracks and selections can be fully manipulated
using the keyboard.

Many more keyboard shortcuts.
New Device Toolbar to manage inputs and outputs. Timer Record feature.
New Mixer Board view with per-track VU meters.

Automatic Crash Recovery in the event of abnormal program termination.
Fast On-Demand import of WAV/AIFF files if read directly from source.
FLAC now fully supported. Added support for optional FFmpeg library for
import/export of AC3/M4A/WMA and import of audio from video files.

Try Bluesoleil from www.bluesoleil.com. The Widcomm drivers that are
used under Windows 7 do not support the A2DP protocol and related
protocols that comply to your headset.

Hi jamie, i have put the latest version of the software back in to my
victor stream. this time i have used the north american version. you
cannnot change the stereo files to anything with the speed settings.
it still insists in playing them as mono files. brian.
