Hi all

I have blue's universal pop filter for my yeti usb microphone.

Can any one give me any advice on how to install it?

I know that this is not a wind filter. But where exactly on the microphone
must you put it?

Can anyone help here?

RE: Need Help Installing MP3 Direct Cut

2013-09-16 Thread Rob
I can tell you that MP3 Direct Cut does run on Windows7 64 bit computers.
Based on your description, I think the ID you were using when you tried the
installation may not have administrative rights. If there is another ID and
password you can enter when you start the computer, that ID may have
administrative rights. The first ID that was created on the PC should have
administrative rights.
The default location for MP3 Direct Cut on a 64 bit PC is Program Files
(x86). As a test, you can use Windows Explorer to navigate through the
directories of the computer to confirm that the folder exists.

Subject: Need Help Installing MP3 Direct Cut

Hello List:  Am still trying to get programs on this new Windows 7 computer;
the latest thing I have tried to do is to install MP3 Direct Cut.
Admittedly I don't understand all the terminology, so I may not be able to
perfectly explain my problem, but will try: I downloaded and tried to
install
MP3 Direct cut; I got as far as where it wants me to specify a directory (I
don't know where I should put it) so I just figured it would put it where it
wanted to put it) instead, I got a message (and I won't remember exactly
what it said) but it's telling me that it cannot do this; that access is
denied! Can somebody on here tell me how I get past this and install this
program? I had it on my other machine; is it that MP3 Direct Cut will not
run on a Windows 7 machine? Also, I posted a question about Media Player
Classic the other day (I know it went through because I saw it in my email)
but have had no response as of yet!

RE: installing a pop filter

2013-09-16 Thread André van Deventer
I really tried everything.

I tried attaching the bracket via both the right and left screws on the side
of the yety. But the only way you can do that is by removing the gooseneck
from the bracket. You can then attach the bracket but then you are unable
to attach the gooseneck again!!

I'm missing something somewhere!

This does not seem to be a good design at all!

sampling rate

2013-09-16 Thread Joe
Hi. I'm making a series of MP3 audio voice recordings at 64KBPS. I know that's
good enough for voice and it will keep the files from being to large, but if I
sample them at 22 instead of 44, will that make them even smaller? Thanks. Joe.

problem with Amazon audio samples and IE 10

2013-09-16 Thread Norma A. Boge
Hi guys, I recently upgraded to Internet Explorer 10 on my Win 7/64 machine.
Now when I go to www.amazon.com/mp3 to listen to album samples, I have to do
a right click on the play link and then tell IE to open the m3u file. How
can I get IE back to playing the sample when I hit enter on the play link?
Thanks much, Norma

I tried to install it by removing the original screw that holds the yeti in
place. Thisis what I understand from what you are saying.

But that iron bracket only has a hole on one side. Also the bracket is just
a few millimetres too small so that you cannot fit it inside the bracket to
turn the screw through the bracet into the microphone itself.

Am I doing something wrong?
