Re: Reposting A Question
I got rid of Quicktime simply because it wanted to take over my PC and install itself into everything. There are very few files that actually need QT; I manage happily with Winamp and Mediaplayer Classic (with FFMpeg codec package), with the occasional excursion into VLC if I find something the other two don't like. -- rgds LAurence ...George Orwell was an optimist. ---Taglines by Tagzilla (tagzilla.mozdev.org)

Hi, is if anyone is using this particular machine i have a question. it says in the manual, that one can coppy a disc to the memory card, by pressing 3 and then confirming. i have tried this and all i get is a click. also, i tried coppy a folder from a memory stick, i found i coult do this but i had to start the file concerned, thenstop it. as anyone had any better luck than i hav had. brian.
RE: Reposting A Question
Quick time is from Apple. Since it was taken with an Android phone, chances are that Windows Media or Winamp will play it just fine. I'd try that first. -Original Message- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Tom Kaufman Sent: Monday, June 30, 2014 4:23 PM To: 'PC Audio Discussion List' Subject: RE: Reposting A Question I tried that save target thing; no soap! I may reinstall it (once the video in question has been delivered) but there was yet another archived show I wanted to download (Quicktime once again intrephered) I had a discussion with a friend of mine last night who told me that he was afraid it was just going to cause more trouble with me being able to download things; since I cannot see a file association thing in Quickttime, I decided that (at least for now) that Quicktime was gonna have to go! Well this story has a happy ending for me: I did get rid of Quicktime (the video was delivered last night; turns out I wouldn't have needed Quicktime after all of that! It comes up in Winamp, but only plays audio! But VLC definitely will play the video! Now I wish I could find a blind-friendly video editor as the thing was taken in such a manner that in it's original state, it plays sideways! My video tech found a video editor and fixed it! However there are some other videos on this drive that need to be fixed; the video editor he put on is not blind-friendly! Hi list: I don't know if I'll see this or not; there seems to be a problem with messages coming to me from this list! I have sent two messages through to the PC Audio list, but I haven't seen them! Switch and MP4 Files
