Burnaware free question
I am using an older version of Burnaware Free as the latest is completely inaccessible. When one has loaded all the files into Burnaware and is ready to burn, when tabbing through the various combo boxes, there is a check box which gives no indication of its purpose. The screen reader merely says checked or unchecked, contingent on its status. So just what is this check box for? I have not done much testing, but I find no change whatsoever. Don Roberts
Re: Burnaware free question
Amazing. I tried to help the Burnaware support team to make the new version accessible. After a couple of contacts I heard nothing so thought nothing about it and they fixed any accessibility bugs at their end. This doesn't appear to be the case. Such a shame. Hope one answers your question and sorry for the rant. Christopher Hallsworth Student at the Hadley School for the Blind www.hadley.edu On 03/07/2014 15:45, Donald L. Question About Winamp And MP4 Files
Hello list: Am wondering if there's a way to get Winamp to play the video of an MP4 file? I got a video the other night; if I just click it as is, it comes up in Winamp; only thing is that it plays only the audio! I can see the video if I have it play in something like VLC (and that's fine) but was just wondering if I could make Winamp play the video as well and if so, how is it done? Thanks, Tom Kaufman
Re: Question About Winamp And MP4 Files
Hey Tom. Let me just say that I love winamp and have used it for almost fifteen years now, with no sign of stopping... But only for audio. I have never quite been able to figure out why winamp seems to play some videos and not others. There are some codec issues and searching the internet for certain codecs (depending on the type of encoding...which you can't always tell from the extension, you have to look at the video info) has increased the number of videos winamp will play just fine, but there are some files I've just never been able to get to play. Sometimes there's no video, sometimes neither video or audio. VLC on the other hand will play every video I've ever encountered without a hitch or without any hunting around on the net for obscure codec packs. I love it for that reason and if I ever have people over and we want to watch videos/movies, VLC works every time. - Original Message - From: Tom Kaufman tomca...@comcast.net To: Pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Thursday, July 03, 2014 5:28 PM Subject: Question About Winamp And MP4 Files Hello list: Am wondering if there's a way to get Winamp to play the video of an MP4 file? Hi Tom, While in Winamp try pressing Alt+V while the video is playing. Then if you want to see the video in full screen mode press Alt+Enter. I hope this helps. Regards Steve. Hello J M: Yes...I feel the same way about Winamp as you; I, too, have seen Winamp play videos, but am wondering if those videos were originally WMP files (Winamp _will_ play those! Re: Question About Winamp And MP4 Files
You may need to get the k-light codec pack. I'd google that and it's right there. - Original Message - From: Tom Kaufman tomca...@comcast.net To: 'PC Audio Discussion List' pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Thursday, July 03, 2014 6:10 PM Subject: RE: Question About Winamp And MP4 Files Hello J M: Yes...I feel the same way about Winamp as you; I, too, have seen Winamp play videos, but am wondering if those videos were originally WMP files (Winamp _will_ play those! Interesting! I've heard of K-light; I also hear that one needs to be careful as to how to install it as it might carry with it some stuff that one wouldn't want!
