RE: Veronica FM transmitter
These are the best transmitters in my opinion. They also cost more than the conventail device you can buy at best buy. I think the range is what one needs to determine before buying the unit. I personally totally love there devices and customer service. I just wish they were cheaper. smile SKYPE: goldenace4 EMAIL: lakha...@shaw.ca Karim. Is there a pot on the transmitter which allows one to match the output from the source to the transmitter? Second, will this unit work in conjunction with a whip antenna, or must it be connected to a roof top antenna? Lastly, are its input connectors RCA or 3.5 mm.? Thanks for feedback. I heard it was totally inaccessible to screen readers? I'm using jaws10 how about you? Thanks. -Original Message- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Christopher Chaltain Sent: Sunday, August 16, 2009 4:40 PM To: 'PC Audio Discussion List' Subject: The new NFL Field Pass I just signed up for a new season of the NFL's Field Pass. This subscription allows you to listen to all of the radio broadcasts via the internet of the upcoming NFL season (depending on the package you purchase). I noticed a couple of changes this season. First, it looks like it's now using an embedded flash based player, which is totally inaccessible. I don't see anything in the browser window at all, but I am able to listen to the broadcast. In years past, you've been able to select WMP or Real, and I've been able to use the Winamp with the WMP stream. This allowed me to control the player and do things like pause the broadcast, lower the volume and so on. None of this seems possible in the new player. Note that you can still navigate through the web pages to find the stream you want to listen to, i.e. the Dolphins broadcast of the Monday night preseason game between the Dolphins and the Jaguars. It's just that once you've selected the appropriate stream, you're now stuck in an inaccessible media player. There also doesn't seem to be the 7 day trial period that there's been in the past. I always took advantage of this 7 day free trial to ensure everything was accessible. This year, I had to take it on faith, and unfortunately I was disappointed. I don't plan on asking for my money back, but I did follow the contact link and opened up a ticket with NFL Field Pass. I'm just letting everyone know my experience and wondering if anyone has gotten around this limitation yet. -- Christopher chalt...@gmail.com To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org

Hi, How do you change the frequency on the unit? The one I have one has to remove the cover. Also what is the band range sorry if I mist this information. I've bought and used this companies fm transmitters web site and have been very pleased. www.veronica.co.uk -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Larry Naessens Sent: October-20-08 3:55 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: fm transmitters revisited Don, that would depend on the strength of the signal that you are trying to overide. My transmitter is set at 106.7, with the nearest strong signal being at 107.1. There is a weak signal at 106.5, but I don't think it impacts the transmitter in any way. The transmitter does cover my entire house and yard, but if you live in an urban area, you might find some coverage reduction. Unfortunately, due to my lack of experience outside my own area, I can't speak with authority. A suggestion though... I would email the company with your question. I have found them to be quite responsive. Also, they may have a provision for returns if you can't find a workable frequency.
