RE: Best Bluetooth speaker
Yeah the Bose Sound Link 3 is epic! I have the mini and it's very good for being so small. It has just about as much bass as the SL 3. It sounds very clear too. Sure it doesn't hit all the frequencies the SL3 does but it is small after all. -Original Message- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Anders Holmberg Sent: Monday, January 12, 2015 12:12 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: Best Bluetooth speaker Hi! Anyone know how the Soundbrick Plus compares to some of these? It's fairly inexpensive, but I received it as a gift and I like it. K. - Original Message - From: "Mary Otten" I would really be interested in hearing a comparison from somebody who has experience with the Bose sl3 and the Creative Roar, which is about half the price of the sl3. Re: Best Bluetooth speaker
the doctor dray was a big afair with two big handles one on each side. The quality may not be audio file but It does play loud. The reason I didn't look at it is it took 8-10 batterys to work it like the old Boomboxes. Look up the sound dock II on amazon. besure to look for the one that uses a rechargable battery. - Original Message - From: "Sunshine" To: "PC Audio Discussion List" Sent: Sunday, January 11, 2015 3:40 AM Subject: Re: Best Bluetooth speaker can you tell me more about the dr dre bluetooth speaker? also what about the doc you menchened? Re: Best Bluetooth speaker
I have recently purchased the Creative Roar bluetooth speaker from Amazon for $150. Although I have only heard the small JamBox this Creative speaker is far better, as it should be for being much larger. Don't know how it compares with a Bose SoundLink 3 or large JamBox. The Roar is about 10 inches wide, 7 inches deep and 2 inches high. It has an extremely solid feel and lots of weight, likely due to the 6 amp battery in it. It has 2 different amplifiers: one to drive the base speaker, and one to drive the 2 other speakers for mids and highs. The sound is extremely balanced throughout the range. There's a "roar" button that boosts the sound to more fully fill a room. Volume goes quite loud with no distortion. There are lots of reviews on Amazon. Admittedly, a significant number of the reviews seem over the top in their praise. But, in my personal listening I find the speaker extremely good for the price. Re: best bluetooth speaker fore the money
That company make some good stuff and there are some real bargains to be had in the Bluetooth Speaker market, I bought a Uniden BTS50 for $20.00, it fits in your hand but has an incredible sound with the best speakerphone technology I've heard. However, I will be abandoning that now that I have Bluetooth 4.0 on a lot of my devices, most of these speakers are bluetooth 3.0 or even bluetooth 2.0, when you hear Bluetooth 4.0? Well you just won't want to go back, sounds just as good as Airplay. On 24/06/2013, at 2:54 PM, Joe wrote: > I couldn't resist chiming in on this speaker discussion. best bluetooth speaker fore the money
I couldn't resist chiming in on this speaker discussion. I recently got a bluetooth and MP3 speaker that gives the most bang fore the buck. Its the Cambridge Oontz. Its only about the size of a soda can and has a passive radiator that allows it to go down in frequency to an amazing 60HZ. You can really feel the vibration at base frequencies when you touch the top of the speaker. You won't hear thumping base like from your stereo, but it is there especially if your close to it. The best thing though is how well balanced the sound is. It sounds really natural and plays loud with out distortion. Its solidly built and costs only $70 in the US. Its said to sound better than the Jamm box witch costs double that. Just thought you guys would like to know. Regards. Joe.
