Re: Logitech speakers

2011-02-02 Thread Sunshine
stuart, i use a speaker system from benwin.
the 5.1 channel surround is excellent and the bass can do a lot of shaking
as well.
not only can you use these speakers for your computer you can use them for
stereo units, cd players, dvd players tv and anything and everything you
can imagaine plugging the speakers into.
the set i have here gives a total out put power of 680 total wats of power.
quite loud and really clear.
the speakers are flat pannel but they give off the most sound i have heard
from a speaker system
the sub whooffer, is a down fireing one that has a 6.5 or 7 iinch bass
speaker.
which is quite good if not the best in bass response that you can get.
also when the fuse goes out, you can replace that by your self.

I have talked to the folks at benwin, and they are really friendly they will
walk you through your set up if you need help and they will also give you a
lot of information for the speakers.

Logitech speakers

2011-02-01 Thread Stumpy
I’m wondering if anyone has had any experience with Logitech’s Z-5500 Digital
5.1 surround sound speakers. Has anyone had any success with these? They have
some kind of touch screen control pod that also has a knob on it (according,
to my GF’s son) and also a wireless remote. Does anyone know if a totally
blind person could use these at all?

Thanks for any help,

Scott
