Re: Podcast Program
When you install the Webbie package choose Custom Install and then only select Accessible Podcatcher. Thanks again for that one. I visited the WebbIE site to look for Podcatcher, and it looks like I might need the WebbIE full installation in order to use it. Do I understand this correctly? I really would like to give this program a try, but really don't wish to install yet another browser on my system. It seems like I once tried WebbIE, and didn't find it especially useful, but again, I would really like to revisit podcasts once again and could really use an accessible program. Anyway, if you could enlighten me on this software, I would really appreciate your help. Re: Podcast Program
Thanks Roger and Humberto for that helpful information. I'll probably be getting on it some time over the next week. It will be interesting finding out what is going on lately in the world of Podcasting. Re: Podcast Program
Hi Andrea, I use Golden Ear available from http://brooklynnorth.com However development on this program seems to have stopped but it still works well for me. There's also QCast available from http://q-continuum.net/qcast This is shareware and written by Christopher toth who is a blind person so it is written with screen reader users in mind. I haven't tried QCast. Regards Steve. On 14/02/2014 11:23 AM, Andrea Sherry wrote: So what program is the flavour of the month these days? I believe it used to be something called Juice? RE: Podcast Program
Hello Larry: I haven't talked to Alasdair King for a long time, since I translated his help files into Spanish, but I still have him in my Skype contacts, his username is alasdairking and I am sure he would mind if you contacted him to ask him any questions. I installed his software long ago, but as I recall, you download all his programs as a ZIP bundle, but you don't have to install them all; I would advise you however, to peruse all his software, for most are excellent. re: Podcast Program
I've found QCast to be very good from the point of view of ease of use. Think you can find podcasts with it too. Ray.
