RE: Goldwave and lame

2006-12-22 Thread Chris Gilland
Lame allows you to save and to open mp3 files. All you need to do, is copy
lamenc.dll into your goldwave folder, and then you're all set.

Subject: Goldwave and lame

Hi. On the Goldwave web page it mentions the lame file encoder and says it
can be installed in goldwave. When I installed it, it created its own folder
and shortcut on the desk top with an icon called razor lame. How do I use
lame with goldwave? what does it do? and exactly how must I install it.
Thanks Happy Holidays, Joe.

This is the software/encoder that allows you to save MP3 files with GoldWave.
If you download and install the self extracting *.exe file it will basically
walk you through getting things installed in the right places.

If you have installed it and it created an icon on your desktop you shouldn't
have anything to worry about. Just go ahead and feel free to save files in
GoldWave as MP3s and Lame will take care of the details under the hood.
