Re: WinAmp and balance
To use the left and right arrow keys to control the balance you have to be in the Equalizer window and not the Main window. To get there after launching WinAmp just alt-tab once or twice and listen for it. Chirp|Chirp|Chirp: It's the Bat, Chirping Bat .Com ! WinAmp and balance
Hello Listers, I've noticed that when I use WinAmp to play one of my MP3s, that the balance seems to be primarily in the left channel, meaning that the majority of the sound is coming from the left channel and very little from the right. I then have to open up the volume control and put the balance level back to normal. Needless to say this is a pain in the you know what. Is there a place in WinAmp to set the balance? Thanks, Laz ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: WinAmp and balance
When in Winamp and focus is on the main window, you can adjust the balance with the right and left arrow keys. If you're up for editing the winamp.ini file, look for the line pan equals and make the number zero, that is the number zero not the word zero. ** Original Message From: Laz Mesa ** Hello Listers, I've noticed that when I use WinAmp to play one of my MP3s, that the balance seems to be primarily in the left channel, meaning that the majority of the sound is coming from the left channel and very little from the right. ctrl+tab to the equalizer and press the left or right cursor key to set balance. There are also short cut keys to adjust balance. Control alt and k will put the balance in the centre Control alt h will go full left Control alt ; will go full right Control alt j and l will go half way to their respective sides.
