Re: how do you play mp3 audio books?
Hi, I use the victor stream and name each file as 01, 02, 03 etc and put them in the music, digital books or other books folders. You can speed up or slow down the book and return to the last place you read. When turning on the unit, you are placed at the last location you were reading in the book. - Original Message - From: Brian Olesen br...@blindkom.dk To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Tuesday, December 29, 2009 6:51 PM Subject: how do you play mp3 audio books? hi, At times I come across good audio books in the mp3 format. typically they are named or numbered and stored in a single folder. but which player is capable of playing these regarding to the following criteria? 1. they should be played in the right alphanummerical order they are stored in. 2. you should be able to pause your reading, end the program, and continue from the right spot the next time you want to listen. 3. you should be able to increase speed, so you wont fall asleep before the first mp3 has ended. grin Is this possible, and what solution would you recommend? Re: how do you play mp3 audio books?
Oh, I do use my laptop for reading books. I just put them in a folder and name them starting with the 01, 02 etc. Then I use Winamp to play them all by selecting using shift plus ctrl plus end to make sure the tracks are played from top to bottom. However, the ability to start where I left off has been difficult in the past. However, I hear that the new winamp allows for bookmarking whick I am going to try sometime this next week. This would allow for returning to the last place read iin a book. - Original Message - From: Brian Olesen br...@blindkom.dk To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Tuesday, December 29, 2009 7:59 PM Subject: Re: how do you play mp3 audio books? hi dan, oh yes.
