Are you sure this is a problem with Pd? Try other apps and see what happens there. For me the Language Switcher launches the wrong Pd, but that's a bug in that app, I think. I just tried Language Switcher on some other apps, it doesn't seem to like non-Cocoa apps. I'm guessing you are using a German localization for your computer. Pd-extended just follows that. Hey Billy, Please keep the list cc'ed on this thread. There are many people who can answer this qeustion, and other can benefit from reading it. Installing the Pd-extended 0.43 should not touch your vanilla packages from Ubuntu. You can have both installed at the same time.
