May be in time, if I get to review your recent work, I could notice something worth telling you. As it is, it is evidently processed, as it is unlikely that the light and color was the way it is presented, but it is fine. The subject matter is also just fine, if may be not absolutely original, but that's not to say that it is no good. So, it is all around good photograph in all respects, both technical and artistic. Some camera obscura have lenses to permit larger apertures and therefore brighter images. The use of film (or digital media), therefore, may be a more reliable way to dsitinguish between a camera and a camera obscura. Thanks Boris. I'm honoured. But ... The trick is to light from a low angle, via a reflector. First I tried back light. No sucsess. Then I placed the flash at about 90 degrees. Fidled a bit with a reflector on the opposite side, and viola. Slight upgrade from my *ist DL
I recently sold an item on ebay that allowed me to purchase an updated camera with the funds. Today (should of been yesterday, but UPS screwed up my overnight shipping by putting the package on the wrong truck. Insert image of me twitching right here --- * ) my brand new K-5 arrived. Battery is still charging, but I may of cheated a bit and shot a few frames. I didn't even realize I was shooting frames due to the quiet shutter. Wow. Back yard wildlife
Caught these guys playing in our back yard a couple days ago. There were three other kits with them but they were so active I couldn't catch them all in one place.
