Yes that is quite interesting. There's a guy here who has been combining pre-
and post- photos to show the ghosts of buildings that have been demolished
recently.

I recently purchased a book which shows historic photos of my city alongside
modern views of the same locations. It's very interesting, especially to my
Dad who remembers a lot of the old stuff. I bought it so I can compare it in
20 or 30 years to whatever the city looks like then.

Thanks for the heads up John.

That price is too good to ignore - about $300 less than the best
reliable price I've seen. So - I ordered one. I had a few misgivings
about DWI being a grey importer but a quick check on line finds that
they are reliable (as Ryan indicated) and they also have a local agent
(who I spoke to in person before placing the order) for warranty issues.

The only downside - I'm having a couple of weeks away down the south
coast from next Monday and I doubt it will arrive before I go. Oh
well

The toughest thing was the lighting. With those tv camera lights on her face it

One last PESO for a while, a near miss as it where. I missed focus on

blame it on subject movement, yea, that's the ticket.

Hey, ya do what ya have ta do. The 540's behaviour isn't likely to
change, so yours has to. :-)

And disabling the auto sleep doesn't seem to have any downsides. As I
mentioned, I ran two of these suckers for over four straight hours on
fully charged Energizers (2450 mAh) and Duracells (2000 mAh). I did a
battery change on one after 3.5 hours. If they hadn't been getting
flashed at full power every 10-15 seconds they'd have lasted even
longer.

I won't ever bother re-enabling the sleep mode timer--it's just a pain
in the ass.

This week I managed to shoot her unawares from in from of an adjacent booth.

I don't like the background clutter and may take the time to modify it by

retouching and a moderate crop to eliminate some foreground clutter..

Dropbox is a bit weird for me, sometimes it loads the photo straight away and
other times it will sit there and time out. A reload will usually kick it
into life.
