PESO: jacobin cuckoo
also called the pied cuckoo. it is a resident in south india but is partially migratory and in north india is considered a harbinger of the monsoon rains due to the timing of its arrival. http://something-feathered.in/2018/09/01/jacobin-cuckoo/ comments, if any, appreciated in advance :) ~subash -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Re: Well that's fun.
Several hours? What is it doing! Thumbing through the phone book? My Spyder 5 nails it in about 10 minutes. I think my Spyder 2 required 20 minutes. Both achieved excellent calibration. Re: Well that's fun.
I'm using a Spyder 2 with third party software called DisplayCal. It does a lot of things the original software didn't, in addition to allowing the Spyder, to be used to calibrate multiple monitors. It just takes a very long time to do it's job, several hours on my machine at least. On the other hand the entire calibration setup was more or less free to me so I can't complain to much, but that won't stop me from complaining a bit. Too much road and background for me. Not much motorcycle. The public road is obvious, IMO. But it’s purely subjective. It is technically good. Help what, exactly? Tighter framing often obliterates the fact that this is racing on public roads. More focal length would help here. PESOs A different take
I’ve posted similar pic before, but I went with a slightly different setup today. No 1.4X converter, just the D FA 150-450 on the K-1. That means I have to crop more aggressively, but I get a bigger ap and reduced ISO. Both at 450mm. https://www.photo.net/photo/18493400/Hairy-Woodpecker https://www.photo.net/photo/18493399/Nuthatch -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
