I'd just seen that on FB. Many happy memories of Don from my visits to
GFM. An exceptional gentleman, that's sad news indeed. RIP Don.

I will dig out the video I shot when GFM honoured his achievements back
in 2009 I think it was - and provide a link.

proportions" pretty well describes the downpour I rode through. I'm

Back Home from Grandfather Mountain.

Pulled in about 15 minutes ago. Got half-way through unloading my car
before it started pouring down rain, so I still have a bit of that ahead
of me before I'll really be home again.

Baxter hasn't decided yet whether she's going to forgive me for making
her stay at the pet hotel while I was gone, but I think she'll come
around eventually. At least I hustled home to get her before they close
for the evening, so she didn't have to spend another night alone.

I have got to start training her to walk on a leash & ride in the car so
I can take her with me. Otherwise I'm going to have problems getting
around to photograph stuff.
