The 24-70 2.8 is also down. But the 150-450 seems to be pretty high and going higher. Shoulda got this when it was $1700, now its like $2500. Ok, I was looking at a chart of the exchange rate for the last month. It had gone from 103.83 yen/dollar to 109.11 yen/dollar. The low point appears to have been some time in August, with the dollar strengthening since then. When did the price change take place? I am suspecting it could be a pre-pre-Black-Friday trick. ;-) If you are interested in buying K-1 or any other Pentax gear at the lowest prices, I'd say, watch Black Friday sales (and Cyber-Monday) at B and Adorama. The past 2-3 (if not 4?), the prices during that stretch of time were the best.
