Re: OT: PESOs - Yellow Aloes

2020-06-30 Thread John
I've seen it occasionally & I have a Flickr account. It should also have a
countdown until it will display the photo whenever that ad page pops up.

For some reason it doesn't display the photo (for me) when the timer expires & I
have to scroll right manually ... which means sometimes I then have to scroll
back to see the photo.

I've only seen it since Flickr got sold to SmugMug.

alan - I get a pause between photos when I scroll to the right .. just a black
background with text that says... "upgrade to Flickr Pro to skip these ads"
don't mind that black screen at all. Haven't seen that on the post of others who
are in the US and link to their photos.  Curious

Scroll R for the other. OT because this is in dicey location & I didn't want
to risk my K5. Use an old Olympus P instead.

The Afrikaners have a wonderful expression for P:  "Mik en Druk" (aim &
press).

Yes, chaps, you're right.

Unfortunately the old P is rather limited & I wasn't going to risk
myself or my crown jewels in such an unsavoury location.

To me the scene was simply a breath of fresh air amongst all the tar,
cement, hustle & bustle.
