Wow, sounds like a lot more food than we had! Gotta love the southern tradition of using the smallest excuse for having a feast huh? This is especially true for barb-e-ques down in south Texas. We always make enough to feed the whole town, despite the fact that we have leftovers for the rest of the month. Yup, that was a potato that the hand was sneaking out. The potatoes and cauliflower were boiled first with the spices, then the shrimp was boiled.
