Should anyone having enough spare time will manage such a book, my advice is not tie it with anything else, being them quotes, PUG submissions, PESO's or the like. Otherwise, things will become complicated and someone could feel his/her contribution to be inappropriate. Let the would be authors submit their entries (PUG and PESO pictures allowed, not mandatory) and make others do the selection. Keep it simple. Just make it a damn good photo book! Some other name that doesn't imply it will happen every year. A festschrift. A schortschrift. Squawk 9. Occasional Papers of the Cormorant Society Vol 11. Lecture Notes in Photography - A Monograph on Puffins. Puffin Papers. Full Frame - The PDML Guide to Cooking Felt and Cotton Headwear. Not the PDML Yearbook, or Does Anyone Here Actually Own a Pentax? Hickory Dickory Dick - The Pentax Book of Perverse Limericks PDML BESO - A Book Every So Often Now that's good. PDML Annual, was - Blurb books
It seems like a few of you have gone to the trouble to publish a tome or two. The folks over at the LUG publish a year book, well, every year. I think they allow up to two photographs, and it looks like any of their list subscribers can contribute. Anyone ever consider a PDML annual? Just curious. http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/search?search=leica+users+groupcommit=Search -- Scott Loveless New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, USA http://www.twosixteen.com/fivetoedsloth/ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

That would be great! Two photographs each author look fine to me, possibly chosen by other PDMLers from a selection of 5-6 pix supplied by the author. Re: PDML Annual, was - Blurb books
I think it is a good idea. I would definitely submit. Note: Blurb has a collaboration mode. As I recall, still only one editor, but it may streamline the process of getting images from multiple people. stan On Dec 4, 2008, at 12:19 PM, Scott Loveless wrote: It seems like a few of you have gone to the trouble to publish a tome or two.
