Thanks Bruce. I suspect I have a couple of dozen or more images in a
similar vein on my walls. Streams fascinate me. I suspect because the
mighty Wascana is the only creek in the world that doesn't flow most of

The shot has little technical merit, but I think the subject matter

Agreed.

Igor - a _great niece_ is the daughter of a neice or nephew , and
therefore the grand-daughter of one's sister or brother.
So why not grand niece one might wonder... I think maybe both are used
fromtime to time - but cute kid anyway

Oops,

Of course, I meant to write GRAND-daughter of your sister/brother.
BUT, as Bill wrote, actually, she is a great-niece but not a grand-daughter
of any of Bill's siblings. :-)

She is my nephew's daughter from my wife's side.

Was that a hand-held shot? If so, that's pretty sharp at 1/25th sec.

Thanks Frank. This is the first time I've seen her dress like a

Thanks Paul, Attila, she is a wonderful girl, Thanks Dan for your kind
words, Igor, she is great both as a person, and as a relation. She is my
nephew's daughter from my wife's side.
Thanks Walt. Yes, that was hand held. I shot a couple of dozen images,
really with a 100% failure rate regarding camera shake. I should have
bumped the ISO anther stop. This was the least objectionable of the lot.

Thanks all for looking
