Re: PESO - Evening Abstract #2 (revised)
Thanks for all the comments—I really do appreciate them. Things have been a bit quiet in the critique department here, and it’s good to get feedback from people whose opinions I respect (hmmm…). Another photo posted today; maybe the last of the New Hampshire series. Rick > On Sep 17, 2017, at 9:59 PM, Daniel J. Matyolawrote: > > I also prefer the original. I also prefer the original. The bit of shoreline at the top anchors the image, and makes it more understandable without destroying the sense of mystery. Re: PESO - Evening Abstract #2 (revised)
Rick, believe I prefer the original. I'm not enthusiastic about the tree reflection. Now that I've rethought it, I feel eliminating much of the tree reflection, allowing a small amount the tree leaves and placing the lily pads in the primary center and allowing the far end to open up to whatever is complimentary to the scene. Feel I'm aimlessly rambling and am leaving it in your capable hands. If you do make more efforts, I'll doubtless see them on the list. Best! Good luck with it Rick. It's certainly worth the effort! J Sent from my iPhone > On Sep 14, 2017, at 7:52 AM, Rick Womerwrote: > > Thanks, Jack. Thanks, Jack. You've given me a couple of ideas that I'll try this weekend. It feels somewhat crowded without some surrounding space. Allowing an outlet at the far end would be pleasing and more comfortable for me.
