It reminds me very much of a set of photographs I saw at the galleries last Thursday, an exhibit of ten prints named Partial Landscapes ... Like this, most of the frame was white space and the details of a small portion of the landscape showed (the actual image portion was typically about the size of a 3x5 print in a print that was at least A3 size). The effect of these ten prints was that your brain filled in the rest of the scene ... Against the white gallery walls, they all collaborated to produce quite an unusual and effective, enormous landscape. Re: PESO - Whiteout conditions
Really, I am in no way competent to say if this is a good picture or not, but what happened to me is that on my 15 screen, Safari not running full-screen, only the top-left three-quarters of the image showed up. I wondered why it wasn't loading. Then I thought I had some smears on my display, and only then did I realize the picture was actually loaded when I scrolled around to find the two persons in the lower right corner. And I am still not sure what the actual motive is, besides the two persons... mountains? Is it supposed to look like that?
