PESO FA 50/1.4 wide open

When I posted a Christmas pic of Grace I noted that it appeared I had missed on 
setting the fine focus adjustment on my FA 50/1.4. It was obvious that it was 
front focusing. Adjusted it again today -- with a new target that precludes 
focusing on the wrong line. Then I shot Grace and her Christmas present at 
f1.4. The focus is on her left eye. The FA 50/1.4 is a darn good lens when its 
calibrated. (Mine came in at -4.)  While the K-3 delivers more DOF than would a 
24 x 36 camera, I find it delivers enough softness in the foreground and 
background to make me happy.

spare time for testing my redeployed foot stool and reading.

Thanks Bruce. I can't imagine that shooting wide open with this fast a lens is 
possible without fine focus adjustment. Very few screw drive lenses are 
perfectly accurate right out of the box.
