Re: PESO FA 50/1.4 wide open
I have to calibrate as well. Looks good Paul! The focus is on her left eye. The FA 50/1.4 is a darn good lens when its calibrated. (Mine came in at -4.) While the K-3 delivers more DOF than would a 24 x 36 camera, I find it delivers enough softness in the foreground and background to make me happy. http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=17637421 Paul -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

*Very* nice, Paul. Now I really must do the cal thing. Darn! I thought I had found some spare time for testing my redeployed foot stool and reading. Re: PESO FA 50/1.4 wide open
Thanks Bruce. I can't imagine that shooting wide open with this fast a lens is possible without fine focus adjustment. Very few screw drive lenses are perfectly accurate right out of the box.
