Re: GESO - More Ice Storm

Thanks Attila.

I agree the street shot isn't much, more for documentary than artistic
purposes.

Our neighbourhood is an older (by Toronto standards) suburb - about 100 years
old and I'd guess the houses on my street are about 70 or 80 years old.

Newer areas have concrete light poles and wires are now buried.

Our single family homes and small apartments are almost all wood frame. The
exteriors are usually brick or siding (aluminium or vinyl) made to resemble
wood. Not many houses left that are actually wood siding; too much maintenance
involved.

Thanks for your comment and thanks to all who looked.

Cheers,
frank

The wide shot shows your neighborhood, but I'd like to see more of the
nice houses on the right. Everything seems to be made of wood, even
the utility poles, quite interesting. The empty road in the center
doesn't do much for me.

The berries show how cold it was. I'm not sure about the color but I
wasn't there.

Just two shots this time. The wide street shot doesn't really show
how lovely and white and icy everthing was, but it gives a bit of an
idea.

I thought the berries were interesting (not sure how successfully I
portrayed it):

 Hope you enjoy. Comments welcome.

Got down to the Lake today so may be more in a day or so...
