(Not just the picture, but the specifications as well.) There may be some truth to the new Photo Rumors rumor, but mixing in the April Fools' specifications can only muddy the waters. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
Re: K-3 @ Sept Photokina?
Interesting note in one of the links: The new Pentax K-01 mirrorless camera is supposed to be build like a brick, literally - you should be able to place on a table in landscape or portrait position without a tripod. Has anyone tried this? Will the K-01 sit on a table in portrait position without a tripod? Re: K-3 @ Sept Photokina?
As Sarah Palin would say, I wish that Pentax would refudiate that rumor. Their new compact line with toy lenses doesn't seem to be gaining much interest. Both Fuji and Sigma generated a great deal of interest in their APS sensor compact cameras, even though everyone had to wait for many months before they ever materialized. The Fuji X100 was certainly worth the wait.
