Isn't biking off-road around where you live kind of dangerous too? 8^)

Your bike looks very good as a whole, by the way, and I  think it is

Unfortunately, local driving habits does not permit much cycling here
and my bike
has probably forgotten everything already about its owner.

I took advantage of it to go for a bike ride this afternoon.  I’m
particularly fond of this one:

One of my recent projects was converting my bike to mustache bars to ease the
strain on my wrists.  I finally remembered to grab a shot of the new setup:

The bikes a bit on the heavy side, and the gearing’s a little tall for
serious offroad, but it’s reasonably comy on pretty much any road.

I’ve never seen a fox in these parts. I’ve seen a couple of bobcats. I may
have seen a couple of coyotes by the road at night. I personally have never
seen a mountain lion, but sightings are becoming quite a bit more common,
especially with all of the security cameras that people are getting.

We USED to have wild turkeys in our yard. The occasional fox has turned
into three foxes, running around, and, no more turkeys. Also, fewer
rabbits and squirrels. I haven't seen a possum or groundhog in a couple of
years either, as I think of it, and the chipmunks seem to be confined to
our fenced-in pool patio, whereas previously they were digging at the
foundation at the front of the house.

Like the Turkeys. Haven't seen any around here for years. Some people
used to keep them long ago. The commercial ones are all small whites.

More like a MB now. I agree, upright is much better for old toppies.
Your next project could be to fit one of those aux. electric motors.
Maybe Elon Musk will sponsor you?
