Re: QuickTime Video Editor for Win7

2019-08-10 Thread John
Don't have a recommendation for "FREE" software, but if you already have
PhotoShop, I'm pretty sure you can edit K-70 videos there.

I've only done 1 video with the K-1 and I edited it in PhotoShop.

Can anyone recommend a decent and preferably free editor for QuickTime video

real pain.

Well, just so you know, Apple came out with an update for their

wouldn't get out of the way so I could continue reading the thread on
Quicktime which required Task Manager to eventually get rid of prompting

You must be joking... Apple with problems??? Impossible...

I attended to a roadshow long ago, and one of the highlights of the
event was a Mac with frozen system. We were just getting the operator a
hand of applause every time the damned thing flopped.

Looong before that, I won a bet against a IIe user who tought 16 color
video and FM synthesis sound were impossible - he never heard about the
MSX computers. Yes, at the time the IBM clones offered 4 shades of
green, no sound, and no one would ever need more than 640k of memory.

Heyy. They had sound! They beeped like the dickens if they
weren't happy on startup or you got more than 16 typed characters ahead
of whatever program you were running. :-)

Joseph, we have to get to grips with the idea not everyone finds QT as
beneficial. Actually my favourite and most used piece of software that I
use professionally on the Mac is Mpeg Streamclip - simply superb.

Used it today to convert some H.264 video shot by a bloke in a powered
hang-glider so it could be integrated into an edit by AVID Newscutter on
a PC (which produces .movs but that's a different argument ;-)..
