I would also like to chime in to recommend Steve. He is the only person we 
would send our reproducers and recorders to. He does fantastic work, is a joy 
to work with and is very reasonably priced. He has worked on countless 
reproducers for us and two Edison recorders as well. They all come back looking 
and working like new. You could not find a nicer, more talented person to 
rebuild your reproducer.

Hi- And I would sincerely add to the comments of John Robles. I have known 
Steve Medved since 2007.He has rebuilt at least four Edison reproducers for me. 
In every rebuild, the reproducer came back cleaner and sounded MUCH better than 
before Steve worked on it. Steve is one of those rare people that repairs 
someone else's items just as good as if it were his. That is beyond my opinion, 
that is a fact.His goal is to have the reproducer look and sound it's best.He 
is my first choice, and I would recommend him to anyone. Charlie.

I have a saphire stylus for a Diamond Disk W19.  I think the saphire is worn 
down becuase it seems to cause a lot of drag when playing a record.  In anycase 
its close to 100 years old and Id like to have someone rebuild it.

Do you have recommendations where I can send the head for a rebuild and saphire 
replacement?

Off topic I know but was wondering if someone in phono forum may have insight.
I've look and inquired and cannot find music discs for a Stella 9.5 music box.

My wife wants a Regina or Polyphon type disc player.  I know enough about 
phonos to buy something online but not music boxes. 
Do you know of a store or booth or individual in Southern California that we 
could visit this week that might have Reginas or that type of antique music 
player for sale?

We appreciate any hints.

[Phono-L] Orange County Victrola Repair?

Does someone know of a person to repair a Victrola in SoCal, preferably 
in/around Orange County?
Its a Victrola XVI.  Could be a broken spring.
Any tips appreciated.

Selling 3 Antique Wind-up Phonographs, Tabletop, Victrola, Victor VV-XI,
VV-X, VV-50.  All work and good condition.  See xtra text for pics and
URL.  
At one time I collected all the table top Victrolas.  These are my last
3, all complete and working.  The XI is fairly rare..hard to
find..mahogany...all gold hardware, beauty!..$800.  The VV-X is also
fairly rare mahogany and has original key..$650.  The VV-50 is a neat
suitcase portable victrola in Oak..$425.
Im selling many other things too as I have time to inventory them.
