I received this as well but haven't had any problems with it and know that
there is no way Jerry would ever knowingly send on anything like this.
He has been most helpful to me with parts and information and I would think
he would be one of the very last people to send something doggy on!
I actually don't understand anyone thinking that he would!
For all the average home computer users who thinks that this couldn't happen
to you, well think again!

This has happened on quite a few lists recently.

To add to what others have said, it's important to *never* click on a
link in an email when there's no accompanying note to describe what it
is, especially if the email also has no subject line and/or is addressed
to multiple recipients. This is always spam or a virus.

To clarify... I Googled the first part of the link before I clicked on

But it could have been a damaging one so I wouldn't recommend clicking

Phono friends- I continue to learn much about this hobby. I have just listed
(actually relisted) on Ebay a reproducer that I thought was a Columbia
off-shoot--perhaps even dictaphone. Some extremely helpful collectors have
identified it as a German Argosy reproducer-- so, it is relisted with that
information. I'd appreciate it if you would take a look and if anyone can shed
further light on the machine it would be used on, or the company that made it,
I would love to hear more. Item # is 220743452676.
Thanks-

Hi - I recently picked up a record collection that had a mostly 10 but some
12 Victor?record binders that hold 16/17 records and had the letter on the

only seen the ones that hold 10 and 12 records that look like this.? Did these
come with a specific machine or were they just ones you could buy separately
(or both)?? Did I just coincidentally miss finding these all these years or are
the that uncommon?
Thanks,

These sound like the albums that Victor used in the 1909-1914 time
period. The were common then, but since they were only used for a
short time, they are less common than the red ones. They came with
certain Victrolas, and you could buy them separately. There is a
photo and a description in the Victor Data Book, in the section on
albums.

There were two different metal horn ends that I'm aware of in use in
the 1908 - 1910 era (approximate dates). Do you know the
measurements of the one you're looking for? Screw end would be the
same, of course, but length and possibly termination detail at the
outer would be different.
