That's what permissions are designed to do. If you can't even chmod the directory, then the directory probably doesn't belong to you. You can't install your stuff into a directory that isn't owned by you (or at least in the same group as you). Ok, I don't get it... I put a string to one line ( $string = str_replace(\n, br, $string); ) but when I put it in a text file I see breaks right before br. For example: I have a text area and type: 1 22 333 then, I take that string and replace \n with br. $string = str_replace(\n, br, $string); then, I put the string in a txt file... and here's what I see in the text file: 1 br22 br333 instead of: 1br22br333 How can I make it that way?
