[PHP] embedding php in C

2003-08-01 Thread April
This was last asked: in 2001
 2. 2001-07-31 Embedding PHP into another application...
The solution suggested was to adopt a commericial package.

I have experimented with a javascript library, but I think the licensing
of php is more favourable; I am not lawyer though!

I have seen somewhere that someone wrote a C library to link to php.
Has this been done? I have searched the MARC archives for several
variations of embedded/link/lib to no avail

Thank you,
April White

[PHP] Embedding PHP in C

2001-08-28 Thread Chris Wilson

Hello Everyone

I'm doing a project for which I want to have a C/C++ act as a process proxy
for which can pass information and retrieve information from a called PHP
script. I think that can be done in perl however perl I don't take is the
best langauge. I've fell in love with PHP and would love use it and avoid
have to call PHP from the commandline and parsing the outputs.

Any suggestion on if this can be done or any other langauge that do the
trick besides PERL..

Thanks
Chris
