[Pingus-Devel] Polish translation

2016-07-06 Thread Marcin M.

Hi,

I noticed that Polish translations for the Pollution campaign are
incomplete. Does anything else need translating too?

I'm willing to contribute the Polish translation. I've already forked
pingus ;)

The translations reside in data/po, don't they?

Marcin

Patented? What exactly is patented there?

Anyway, it's just an idea. Feel free to use anything you want :) The
main point is: currently translating Pingus is barely possible for a
non-technical person.

To be honest, even as a programmer I'm not sure how I should translate
the pingus levels, because there are some mysterious generation scripts,
the gettext files are incomplete, etc. It'd be great to simplify the
translation process, especially with so many new levels coming.

[Pingus-Devel] Transifex?

2017-01-14 Thread Marcin M.
Hi,

I just got a thought: maybe Pingus could use Transifex for collaborative
translation?

It's not trivial to instantaneously grasp the gettext files format and
the Transifex's interface is brain-dead-simple. I've seen other projects
use it and get translations really quickly.

What do you think?

Regards,
Marcin
