[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#784448: Qt4 WebKit removal: raising severity to serious
Control: severity -1 serious Dear maintainer(s), As recently announced [1], we are going to remove not only Qt 4 WebKit, but Qt 4 as a whole in Buster. As removing Qt 4 WebKit is the first step, I am raising the severity of this bug to serious. Please port your package to Qt 5 if you do not want to get it removed from Debian. In Qt 5, the WebKit module is supported, and we are currently preparing a major update based on 5.212 branch [2]. Do you have any objections against that? [Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#763852: gammaray: consider dropping build-dep on libqt4-private-dev
Source: gammaray Version: 2.1.0-3 Severity: wishlist Dear maintainers, Gammaray is currently the only package which build-depends on libqt4-private-dev. That package is an ugly hack (i.e. it ships files in /usr/include/src), and was originally added for qtcreator, but new qtcreator uses qt5 and thus no longer needs those headers. So we want to drop that package as soon as possible. I see gammaray source has two headers in 3rdparty/qt/private/ directory, and it seems that these two are the only headers gammaray needs. Is it possible to use this directory instead of headers shipped in libqt4-private-dev? -- Dmitry Shachnev signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature ___ pkg-kde-extras mailing list pkg-kde-extras@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-kde-extras
