I'm about to upload opencv 3.2 in unstable starting the transition.
Please do a digikam upload adding appropriate build-depends constriction
on the version 3 of opencv and turn on that configure flag.

Yes, but please keep this open and close it with an upload using that
switch once the transition starts (should happen RSN, hopefully).

[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#784471: Qt4's WebKit removal: rising severity to important

2016-10-03 Thread Mattia Rizzolo
Control: severity -1 important

Please consider this a reminder of the upcoming removal of Qt4's WebKit.
We are rising the severity of all bugs to important, but they will
become serious in a fairly short term, to be able to remove it before
the release of stretch.

cool, thanks. I didn't want to make my NMU too big, that's why I
haven't looked at doing that.

tough, with that binary upload you actually reverted the binNMU that we
had done a few hours before for the opencv transition (that we have been
forced to do for the jasper removal).
I already requested a binNMU, but I'd like to show you the marvelous
world of source only uploads :D https://wiki.debian.org/SourceOnlyUpload

Since we are pretty near the removal of jasper, I intend to NMU digikam
disabling jasper support with the attached patch.

I'm currently holding off the upload as I first need to have imagemagick
done and built on all architectures, as otherwise libjasper-dev would be
pulled by it making my upload moot.

Please yell if you have anything to say!

that package is not a right name of something in the debian archive,

that version is not something that is in debian, though.
but I'll let quassel maintainer take care of it.
