For the record, despite what the documentation [1] says, I had to apply
the patch:
-  *stk(lL) = cvSaveImage(cstk(lR), pImage);
+  *stk(lL) = cvSaveImage(cstk(lR), pImage, NULL);

watch file errors are not too bad and provided it is right some of the time 
that is probable good enough..

No we can reimport easily until we get a new upstream release.

However svn-buildpackage seems to work with what we have so I can upload now.

[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#560893: digikam: digicam eats all cpu

Since kde 4.3.4 hit unstable, digikam seems to use quite a
lot of te cpu. I can reproduce this with 1.0.0-beta4
and 1.0.0-rc-1. Building own packages does not help.

Removing config and image db does not help either.
