So, I simply modifed the address to point at their non-SSL servers (removed the s from https) and all works as it should. Can you do a local net install? You setup exported directory on another machine where you leave the iso and then boot and run net install. - Export a NFS dir. - Place the Fedora dvd image in the exported directory. - Check the permissions. - Extract, burn and boot from boot.iso inside the fedora dvd image. - Use the ‘linux text’ and ‘linux askmethod’ parameters. - Choose the NFS option and fill-in the server and directory fields. -- (623)239-3392 (503)754-4452 www.obnosis.com --- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss

FC 11 all mirrors b0rked
Well, it seems that the fedora project has rather a problem. all mirrors report that the repomd.xml data file are not properly linked metahandlers. this is rather a problem fro doing net installs on a machine that doesn't have a dvd player :( I have tried also FC-10 and even 9. all have the same problem. --- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
