I am running 7.3.2. I installed Alien with the extensions downloader. I am not sure where it gets put. Plugins installed using Extension Downloader currently are stored in your Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins directory. This location may change in future version so see WebUI Settings/Information for location of plugins directories. I Also installed iPlayer from there. I see the stations, but cannot connect. Does this only work in the UK now? If not, what am I doing wrong? If you are referring to the BBCiPlayer plugin - The better quality MP3 streams it finds can only be played from the UK. On the first page there is a link to a V5 of iPlayer. How does one install it? Will that help? I don't know what your are referring to the SC main page, BBCiPLayer plugin or AlienBBC ?. If it is AlienBBC then you may not have deleted all the old AlienBBC files as there should be no iPlayer menu item. All AlienBBC menu are now iPlayer menus and so the old iPlayer menu item will not work. Stop SC. Delete the file alienbbc.opml in SC playlist directory (or if you do not have a playlist directory defined - the cache directory). Make sure the old manually installed AlienBBC directory has been deleted. Could just be a typo in the file. That has happened before. .pm files are just plain text. I suggest, given the things you have tried, that you open them both in a text editor and compare them. If you use TextWrangler (free) you can automatically do a comparison of two files. I never wrote back .. sorry. 2.3.1 worked for me too. **BUT** Now I have a new annoyance that I can't figure out .. When I cue up a list of songs lately, it will not delete the first song in the list, but it deletes all of the rest. Not a BIG deal, but it's just annoying. If I manually delete that first song, then the currently playing song won't delete but then every song after that deletes. What are the current settings for RTSP under WebUI Settings/Advanced/FileTYpes Do you have bit rate limiting enabled for your player ? What security s/w are you using ? I am having similar trouble. Alienbbc seems to have as the connected as the counter works. However there is no audio. Does the installation of LAME have anything to do with it? I have upgraded to Squeezecenter 7.3 and installed Alien correctly.Nothing from Alien gives audio, although I can get BBC World Service without going through Alien. I use Windows XP and Firefox. I have the same problem, but I think it's because the link here: http://www.x2systems.com/AlienBBC/ for Install pack for Squeezecenter 7.3 actually downloads the one for 7.1/7.2 and then you get 'Plugin is incompatible with this version of SqueezeCenter. Please update.' on the Plugins screen in Squeezecenter. Can someone tell me if there is a link to the correct Install pack for 7.3, cos I think that will solve it. I notice that when the plugin is active, the player section of the SC GUI shows 0,TunerFM. Since the settings for the plugin show the audio to be on the 1 pins and video on the 0's, shouldn't it be 1,TunerFM? The capture device that works is the Audio capture and not the Video
capture. I need to check these out but on some tuner cards the video
capture has an video audio component - perhaps not on your Hauppauge
board. At the very least I should include the audio capture item as a
choice as a source and then let user play around with valid choices.

Yes, all indications are that the Video Capture device gives the video and audio from the TV section of the Hauppauge card while the audio from the FM tuner is output via the Audio capture device Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II ([23. Classical files and other genres files are located in two distinct directories. My Multilibrary Setup: Standard Library = [Classical Music) (included directory c:\library\classical) Dependent directory = [Other Music] (excluded content [Classical Music]) My menu Setup: Home Menu Custom Browse Classical Music --Composers --Works Other Music --Artists --Albums Menus are displayed correctly and works as intended if the correct library is activated via (Extra/Multibrary or at startup if [ask for library option] selected) But If [Other Music] library is activated then Classical Music menus are, logically, displaying the Other Music contents. The plugin already tries to handle the two audio video capture filter issue already. There are two main chipsets which are used to make Tuner boards and it already works for mainly non-Hauppauge boards. I love this screensaver, in fact it is my default power off screensaver. Unfortunately, I've had my Squeezebox (v3) for about 3 or 4 years, and I'm beginning to get a little burn-in on the screen. Is there a way to invert the display of this screensaver so that I can use the rest of the pixels on my screen? Could this possibly be implemented as a future feature? woah - so sorry to take up so much of your time with what turned out to
be so stupid. I was so close the first time when I manually tried to
add the lines danco pointed out, but I missed a };.
The full text needing to be patched in is;

which on the included CDhandler.pm file that extension downloader grabs
are lines 182-184. Attached is the updated file.

I'm having the same problem using a windows Vista machine. Pandora doesn't work using squeezslave... the duet controller, squeezebox and even squeezeplay (except fwd button) work.
